Mechanism of Action:
Carmustine inhibits the transcription and replication of cancer cells by alkylating DNA and RNA. Cell cycle arrest and apoptosis (programmed cell death) result from this.

Dosage and Administration:

How to use this Medication?
Carmustine injection is administered intravenously (into a vein) by a physician or nurse in a hospital outpatient clinic or doctor's office. It is a powder that is mixed with fluid and administered over a minimum of two hours. Typically, it is administered once every six weeks. Every six weeks, it can also be administered once daily for two consecutive days in lesser amounts.
