Tafnat 25mg Tablet contains Tenofovir Alafenamide, which belongs to the class of nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). It is mostly used to treat chronic hepatitis B infection and HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) infection.

Mechanism of Action:

Tenofovir diphosphate, the active form of tenofovir alafenamide, is produced inside the cells and inhibits the reverse transcriptase enzyme in both HIV and HBV. This slows the evolution of the disease and improves liver function (in the case of hepatitis B) by stopping the virus from growing and lowering the viral load in the blood.

How to use this Medication?

Drink a glass of water along with this prescription. Take it daily at the same time as specified on the prescription label. Consume it with food.
