Mechanism of Action:

Trastuzumab Deruxtecan is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that combines the cytotoxic topoisomerase I inhibitor Deruxtecan with the HER2-targeting monoclonal antibody Trastuzumab. Trastuzumab facilitates targeted administration by binding specifically to tumor cell HER2 receptors. Deruxtecan, which is released after being absorbed into the cancer cell, attacks HER2-positive tumors by causing DNA damage and encouraging apoptosis.

• HER2-positive breast cancer
• HER2-positive gastric cancer

Dosage and Administration:

Given as an intravenous infusion every 3 weeks.
