Kryxana 200mg Tablet contains Ribociclib, a cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitor used to treat advanced breast cancer.

Mechanism of Action:

The cyclin-dependent kinases CDK4 and CDK6, which are essential for the proliferation and division of cancer cells, are blocked by the CDK4/6 inhibitor ribociclib. Ribociclib stops cancer cells from moving from the G1 to the S phase of the cell cycle by blocking these kinases, hence stopping their growth. It is a useful treatment option for hormone receptor-positive breast cancer because it also prevents breast cancer from developing resistance to hormonal treatments, which increases the efficacy of endocrine therapy.

Uses:

Metastatic Breast Cancer

Dosage and Administration:

600 mg once daily for 21 days, followed by 7 days off (28-day cycle) is the recommended dosage. Administration is done with or without food at the same time every day. Do not chew, split, or crush; swallow whole.

How to use this Medication?

Drink a glass of water along with this medication. Observe the medicine label's instructions. This medication should not be sliced, crushed, or chewed. Avoid taking it with pomegranate juice, grapefruit juice, or pomegranates. It can be taken with or without meals. Take it with meals if it makes you feel nauseous. Take your medication on a regular basis. Avoid taking it more frequently than prescribed. Except as directed by your physician, do not discontinue taking.
